Dr. Daniel Darvay și-a obținut doctoratul în limba engleză la Universitatea din Oklahoma și a predat la Universitatea Wake Forest, Universitatea de Stat din Colorado Pueblo și Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai. Este autorul cărții „Haunting Modernity and the Gothic Presence in British Modernist Literature”, iar articolele sale au apărut în reviste precum European Journal of Cultural Studies, Modern Fiction Studies, Studies in the Novel și Genre: Forms of Discourse and Culture. Cercetările sale actuale se concentrează pe modernismul transatlantic, științele umaniste digitale și studiile culturale globale.
