On 12-18 July 2026, CODEX Centre hosted an international summer school in Cluj.
Eight tutors from Budapest, Cluj, Paris, Prague and Vienna, and sixteen students from Cambridge, Cluj, Dublin, Paris, Prague, and Vienna spent a week in Cluj and Alba Iulia studying medieval manuscripts and early modern printed books. The summer school was sponsored by the cluster of excellence “EurAsia: Eurasian Transformations“, Vienna, represented by Dr Pavlina Rychterová.
