If It’s April, It’s Shakespeare – Second event

The second event of the series If It’s April, It’s Shakespeare took place on the 23rd of April, in the reading room of the Romanian-Hungarian Library, and we had a lot of fun! Between debunking myths about the great bard and translating Hamlet for Gen Z, listening to prof. Adrian Papahagi recite the famous soliloquy in English and the very passionate students reading the same fragment in Romanian, Hungarian, German, Italian, French, Japanese, Korean, Serbian, Polish, Greek, and Turkmen, we laughed and shared our love of Shakespeare and of languages. Thank you to everyone who was involved and to Mălina Todoran for organising everything so carefully.

Here are some photos from the event:

See you next time!
